The decorative objects in Aimee Song's rooms do double duty — they add visual warmth and material texture while serving as quiet evidence of a considered sensibility. At Lulu and Georgia, the Aimee Song decor collection brings together the designer's vases, trays, ceramics, and accent objects in natural materials and warm-toned finishes — each piece chosen for its material quality and the way it contributes to the organic, layered atmosphere her interiors are known for.
What Aimee Song decor does Lulu and Georgia carry?
The Aimee Song decor collection includes ceramic vases and vessels in organic forms and warm neutral glazes, decorative trays in rattan and natural wood for surface organization, sculptural objects in ceramic and natural material, candles and diffusers in warm, understated scents, and baskets and woven objects in natural fiber. Most pieces are scaled for tabletop and shelf display — the primary positions where Aimee Song builds decorative vignettes in her interiors.
How does Aimee Song style decorative objects in a vignette?
Aimee Song's tabletop vignettes are built on the principle of varied height and material — she typically groups three to five objects of different heights (a tall vase, a medium object, a low tray or book stack) in materials that share a palette (cream, sand, natural, warm brown) without matching. The arrangement should feel slightly imperfect and layered rather than formally composed. A living element — a branch, a plant, flowers — is almost always present. The tray is a useful tool for collecting smaller objects into a defined zone that reads as an intentional arrangement rather than clutter.
What ceramics style works best in a California-modern interior?
Organic, hand-thrown ceramics in neutral and earthy glazes — cream, sand, warm gray, terracotta — are the most consistent choice for a California-modern room. The slight irregularity of a hand-thrown vessel reads as considered rather than mass-produced, and the matte or semi-matte glazes in the warm neutral range work with almost any palette. Avoid highly polished or brightly colored ceramics in rooms designed around natural materials and warm neutrals — they impose too strong a focal point in a room designed around texture rather than color.
