The Extra Long Runner Rugs collection at Lulu and Georgia gathers hallway runners in extended lengths—typically 10 to 14 feet—suited to long corridors, open-plan living spaces, kitchen runners, and grand entry halls. The collection includes the Keziah Flatweave Jute-Blend Rug (from $98), Kate Hand-Knotted Wool Rug (from $378), and the Senna Hand-Knotted Wool Rug (from $158), all available in runner lengths that work in spaces where standard 8-foot runners fall short.
What are extra long runner rugs?
Extra long runner rugs are narrow area rugs in lengths greater than 10 feet—typically 12 or 14 feet—designed for long hallways, extended kitchen runs, wide stair landings, and open-plan living spaces where a standard runner doesn't reach. At Lulu and Georgia, extra long runners are available in flatweave jute, hand-knotted wool, and other constructions in the same colorways and patterns as the full assortment—just in longer sizes.
What extra long runner rugs are available at Lulu and Georgia?
Lulu and Georgia's extra long runner selection includes the Keziah Flatweave Jute-Blend Rug (from $98) in a natural, low-pile construction suited to high-traffic hallways, the Senna Hand-Knotted Wool Rug (from $158) for a softer underfoot feel with more texture, and the Kate Hand-Knotted Wool Rug (from $378) for a more investment-grade hallway runner. All are available in 2'x10', 2'x14', and other extended runner dimensions depending on the pattern.
How do I choose an extra long runner rug?
Measure the hallway length first, then subtract 6–12 inches from each end so the runner doesn't butt against the baseboard—this creates a clean, finished look with a border of flooring visible on each end. For a wider hallway (over 4 feet), consider a 3-foot-wide runner. Choose a low-pile flatweave like the Keziah for high-traffic halls; a hand-knotted wool like the Senna or Kate for a bedroom corridor or sitting room where foot traffic is lighter and texture is valued.
